• All hourly roles may be offered as full-time or part-time positions based on business needs
• Full-time team members are expected to work a minimum of 4 days per week
• Part-time team members receive 1 week of paid vacation annually

We are hiring prep cooks who understand that strong kitchens are built on discipline, organization, and consistency.

This role is responsible for preparing ingredients and maintaining systems that allow the kitchen to execute at a high level during service. The quality of prep directly impacts the quality of every dish.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Execute prep tasks accurately and efficiently according to recipes and standards
• Prepare ingredients including cutting, portioning, and organizing products
• Maintain consistency in product preparation and portioning
• Follow all prep lists, recipes, and kitchen systems
• Label, date, and store all products properly to ensure freshness and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
• Communicate product needs, shortages, or issues to kitchen leadership
• Assist line cooks during service as needed
• Maintain awareness of kitchen flow and support team operations
• Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning and station breakdown

• Support kitchen operations through preparation and organization
• Ensure readiness for service by completing prep tasks on time
• Maintain consistency and quality of all ingredients
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and kitchen standards
• Be available to support operational needs as directed by management

• 18 years old
• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and leadership
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to model and act in accordance with Noko Hosptiality guiding principles

• Constant standing and movement
• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
• Exposure to kitchen environments including heat and cold
